Dedicated to the memory of Eric Brown
On 1st October, 2017 a dear Husband, Dad, Grandad and Friend passed away. Ironically this happened while his 3 daughters were at the half way point of a Memory Walk in his honour. We believe he wanted to walk the rest of the way with us.
Whilst we have lost his presence and shall miss him dreadfully he has gained himself.
His soul, confused and bewildered, a shadow of his former self, is once again free and crystal clear.
Dementia robbed him of himself but gone is the frail man of recent times and in his place the Husband/Dad/Grandad shines - returned to the strong and impressive man he once was. The head of the family. A force to be reckoned with yet the gentlest tease. The twinkle in his eye, the beaming smile and the unforgettable laugh. The strong hugging arms of our childhood.
While he may now not be with us in person, he has not been lost, he has been found 💕
