When I think of Eric, the first words that come to mind are kind, thoughtful, and family man. Eric has wonderfully managed to be everything which could possibly be asked of him as a father, husband, grandad and friend. When I needed to turn to him for counsel, I was nervous, but he immediately put me at ease and gently offered me the sage advice I requested and then threw a great big dollop of support along with it. I can't take away your pain, sadness or any of the emptiness you're feeling. But what I can tell you is how happy I am for you all that you managed to cherish so very many years together, which have been filled with love and laughter.
